Thank you for visiting The Frisky Kitty website. We are pleased to offer a variety of 1970's/1980's/1990's couture and retro/vintage clothing for women, a large collection of rare/hard to find decorative limited edition collector plates (over 250 in inventory), and treasure finds.
About me! My present career is that of certified Image Consultant. I completed that training in the 1980's, and have had the great fortune to help my clients in their quest for success. My job is to help them "dress for success", have the best hair cuts, and wear flattering make-up. This I have done with great success. My client list encompasses physicians, lawyers, educators and, frankly (my personal favorites) just average people. Since I elected to be an Image Consultant, acquiring women and men retro/vintage is a regular occurence. Being an Image Consultant is the spring-board from which I have launched The Frisky Kitty website. As an Image Consultant, I have had the good fortune to obtain items from my clients. Either I sell them, or hold onto them ... which I have been doing. NOW, my choice is to share my inventory by offering them on my website.
PLEASE NOTE: Retro/Vintage Items
Fabulous retro/vintage items are not found all the time and, as such, may have been through adventurous existences before being acquired .... even if they are new! We acquire items from several sources and cannot always be sure of past history; however, the items that we sell are always of described quality and condition and any "flaw(s)" is/are noted in the description(s). Items may have residual smoke, perfume, pet hair, dust, etc. If you have sensitivity to these or any other allergens, PLEASE be aware when making a purchase. It is advisable that retro/vintage items be dry cleaned/laundered upon arrival & certainly before using. We do not usually dry clean (if so, such will be noted in description) as this will add to the sales price. We leave that up to the proud new owner, you. Occasionally, items we list may have a minor flaw. Rather than pass on the cost of a professional repair, we list items "AS IS", with all issues noted in the description, so that you as the purchasurer has the option of doing repairs or taking it to a professional.
